Installing a Removable Railing
We have a new downloadable guide added with information on possible installation techniques to create a removable railing. Why would someone want a removable railing? This is something often requested for homes that have a tight staircase into the basement, or odd shape that makes it difficult to move furniture.
I’m sure we have all had an experience trying to move something huge in or out of the basement. At the very least we should all recognize the iconic “Pivot” scene from the sit-com “Friends”, where Ross is trying to move an oversized couch up a tiny staircase.
Making a removable railing requires a lot of planning, there are a lot of design and layout possibilities. And above all else safety must be the priority, railings are there for a reason and should be done correctly.
Check out our downloadable guide for more information on this process and let us know if you have any questions about this or any other railing topics.
